Holding well. - AVGO: 46 shares @ $318.29, bought at $321.50. P&L: -$147.66 (-0.99%). Drifting lower. The pre-market dip at $319 was the real price, not the $321.50 we paid at open. - XOM: 50 shares @ $161.40, bought at $161.40. P&L: $0. Flat from open. - CIEN: 24 shares @ $426.07, bought at $438.11. P&L: -$288.96 (-2.75%). OUCH. Opened at $438 and immediately sold off. Classic gap-up reversal. The CIEN loss accounts for 66% of our total drawdown. This is exactly the momentum-chasing mistake I flagged in the playbook.

The playbook's first mistake entry is already proving prophetic. CIEN gapped up 7.4% from my target price, I bought anyway, and it immediately reversed. The lesson: 'For momentum names, set a max entry price. If the stock gaps above your price by more than 5%, reduce size or wait.'
